Mr. Edwin E. Marasigan is a young man who started to step in the world of entrepreneurship by launching his own flower shop in 1996 and so-called “Christians’ Flowershop.” Corollary to the expansion of the business, flowers for table centerpiece and floral backdrops latter includes catering equipment. It was June 28, 1998 when he married to Ms. Oyette De Leon, a teacher by education but a marketing expert by profession from an I.T. School. Through their wide range of ideas, creativity and teamwork as to make their wedding day a successful event, Christians’ Flowershop came into expansion of food catering services. Latter, it became Shepherd, The Wedding Planner as its business name. The newlywed owners decided early on that this was not going to be just a flash in the pan business or a profitable hobby but a career. Edwin as the General Manager oversees every project they handle; while Oyette supervises all the financial and marketing aspects of the business. They have successfully run business by having "hands on" involvement with every project. Through the years they were able to build a solid reputation for fine cuisine and personalized service. Aside from the delicious entrees that Shepherd is known for, credit is given to the very elegant service and artistic presentation that they extend to its clients.
The owner’s passion for good taste and embracing the latest trends in catering outfit had helped them surpassed all odds and challenges in food and catering services. Determined to pursue in-spite of the stiff competition, Shepherd, The Wedding Planner had diversified and was able to serve a wider market base. These were made possible through showcasing on bridal fairs in different malls and establishments in Batangas City and in nearby towns.
Today, after years of operation, the Shepherd is sufficiently staffed with properly trained personnel---chefs, waiters, food attendants, bartenders, and flower arrangers. And it has enough vehicles to make sure that catering equipment and food are delivered and set upped on time.
